It's a rabbit hole...

After seeing dragged-out, excessive marketing, and multiple delays, I came into this game with 0 expectations. Frankly, I'm glad I did because it made me enjoy this game much more. Ignoring all the ridiculous claims CDPR made about this game being revolutionary, Cyberpunk 2077 is still really fun and has a better stories than other RPGs I see today. None of the characters have really been annoying to me yet and I'm liking the dialogue options. Night City is dense and crowded with uniquely created NPCs. They aren't as polished as say RDR2 NPCs, but given that there can be literally hundreds of them walking around, it makes sense. This is an extremely taxing game. Perhaps the new Crisis. I can see why last gen consoles struggle with it; this should have been exclusively next gen.

Some issues with the game have mostly been a minor scripting bugs. The police in this game need fixing and the NPCs need to chill out quicker after a gunfight. One time I had an encounter at the Kabuki market that caused hundreds of NPCs to go into panic mode. This greatly dropped my fps and I had to leave the area. In my case, I haven't had any game ruining glitches though.

CDPR didn't pass the bar they set but still managed to release a fantastic game. I hope they continue to update it and add new features/fixes.
