The gameplay loop for this game is already fantastic. I can't wait to see where it goes as the devs work on it through early access. If you're looking for a space game with a bit of building, a good dollop of combat, and some mining / factory building sprinkled on top, this is absolutely for you.

Be warned though: It has a very strong "just one more encounter" attack that will keep you playing for hours. :)

Just getting started with this game, but I'm already enjoying it. The tutorial is well put together, and teaches you the basics of the game with a minimum of fuss, and lets you get to the business of pounding enemy ships into scrap.

I'll definitely be back to play more! I'm excited to watch this game develop into the future.

This is already a lot of fun, with a nice learning curve to the gameplay. It gets repetitive, but as you improve, you get better and better at tearing things apart quickly. Plus, you get better gear, so you can optimize things in new ways as you go.

If you think it looks interesting, you should definitely get it.

Update:

Still enjoying the game, although I've been hooked on other games recently. The ghost ship update was fun, and I'm excited about the teasers of new ships they've released. I can't wait to see where this goes.

Finally got around to finishing the game after the 1.0 release. LOVE the story, and the gameplay is even better than when I originally reviewed it.

I've watch this game through a good chunk of its development over the last year, and I love so much about it. The music and art are fantastic, and the gameplay is deep and varied. This is an EXTREMELY impressive first game for the lead developer, and I can't wait to see what he does with this game, and with whatever his next project ends up being.

Finally starting to get into this game. The learning curve is more like a cliff, but the deep history and the fantastic combat makes it a great game.

As I expected from having watched this be developed, I loved it. For the experienced player of Dungeonmans, it offers an amazing new array of challenges. Both custom-tuned so you can try out the exact difficulty you want, and random weekly leaderboard challenges. And for $5? This is a fantastic deal. Please pick it up if you enjoy the main game!

If you haven't tried Dungeonmans yet, grab the main game (I suggest Champion edition, so you get the soundtrack with it), and see what you think.

Deceptively simple, and a ton of fun, I wasn't sure if this game would be something I enjoyed when I chose to fund the Kickstarter. Boy am I glad I did. It's a great way to have quick bursts of intense gameplay between other activities. I can't wait to see where they go with it in the future.

It's also a great game, and a LOT of fun to play if you can accept a text based game of this style. I'm on my second character, and learning a lot. I expect I'll die again soon though... I'm getting into new areas of the game again. :)
