You are capped at 5 million skill points if playing free to play (Alpha), which greatly limits your ability to do anything. Paying (Omega) is the only real option to play the game. Unfortunately, they have broken from all other large MMO's increasing their price from $15 to $20 while not adding anything to the game to make it worth $5 more. No Omega for me.

After putting a decent chunk of time into the game, I cannot recommend it. I play as a healer and the patches and updates have continuously disappointed support classes, most recent being void gauntlet. It doesn't add anything interesting and the healing output that does happen could have been time spent on healing staff. There have also been nerfs to healing and ice gauntlet CC, which makes keeping yourself alive in a 1v1 impossible.

Endgame is a pain with an awful watermark system that progresses very slowly. You have to watermark each individual gear slot instead of an overall character watermark. Watermarking requires zerging and takes copious amounts of time.

Wars are a mess with defenders having a huge advantage such as; being able to directly see into the attacker's war camp on most territory forts, the ability to buy items at the capture points, and are allowed to camp gate doors, which act as an easy funnel to kill attackers who are required by the design and size of doors to come out in clumps. There's also been ongoing lag issues with wars, especially, when fighting on capture points.

Additionally, their game was poorly designed allowing players to repeatedly break it over and over by duplicating items or money. As a result, they turned off player trade, gold transfer, server transfer, and trading post multiple times. On top of all that, furniture duping happened and they turned off selling furnishings on the trading post, between players, AND the ability to place furnishing in your own storage. Furnishing was my favorite trade skill and they broke it.

Between breaking furnishing and progressively ruining healing/support, I cannot leave a positive review. These are only some of the issues that the game has including territory owners permanently having a monetary advantage given the large amount of money funneled through tax/trade/crafting, leveling is painfully boring except the first 20-30 levels, lack of endgame content, and faction imbalance which causes numerous issues.

In its current state, you should not buy it.

Free game. Not great, not bad. A good way to pass the time.

Unique game developed by a small team that surpasses all expectations.

Played more than I have worked my full time job in the past two weeks.

10/10 Would aggro the entire Driftwood Village on me and follow Hannag for minutes trying to talk to her again.

- Destroy and gather everything you come into contact with
- Build a castle, tear it down, build another one regretting you tore it down
- Kill a hard monster for a pice of meat
- Adventure and steal from everyone
- Find an outfit you like and have to redecorate everything to match
- Carry a bed and campfire with you
- Travel to different worlds
- Get stuck underground without any light

10/10 would fall off my house and die again

My first review so I'll try to keep it clean and simple.

Pros:
- Start is very interesting
- Variety of guns, quests, and worlds
- You don't have to pay to play (see cons)
- You are able to obtain the bought currency by trading items
- Consistent updates
- Multiple different characters (frames) which allow for unique play styles
- Addicting
- Kill vor repeatedly
- Many different guilds
- Online players are generally nice
- Space ninja
- Guild dojos are very interesting and full of nooks and crannies
- Very interesting when you get the hang of it
- Graphics are nice
- Story-line is interesting

Cons:
- Upgrades and other item building takes a very long time - feel pressured to use irl money to finish it
- Cosmetics are all bought with real-life currency
- Pvp system is horrible
- Trade chat is a mess
- Matchmaking can take a long time if no one is playing on that map (node)
- Events make it seem like you have to do it or you are losing out
- ****Lots and lots of farming for materials
- Maps become repetitive after a while

-- Overall it is a pretty good game with a lot of variety. Be wary of buying into the game when you can make platinum through trading. A lot of farming and grinding which can can make you feel isolated, inturn, try to find some people to play with.
