I'm gonna have to leave a negative for this one. Firstly, the game has constant microstutters which I know are not related to my hardware cause I have played much more demanding games. I'll just chalk that up to Denuvo. I am sure if Denuvo is removed, the microstutters would vanish.

Secondly, now that I finished the game I feel like Dead Space 1 didn't need a remake. Why was this made, and for who?
Especially cause we now know that they have no plans to remake the other two. Which leaves this release in a sort of a limbo. Again, why was this made?

EA killed Dead Space originally only to revive it for this and then kill it again. They should have either made a sequel in the trilogy or never touched the franchise again.

A flawed game that I still enjoyed in the end so I'll leave a positive review.
Personally I had no technical issues. Going into this game I was scared that it'll constantly crash and have performance issues but I only had one crash to desktop and almost no performance issues whatsoever.

If you liked the combat of the first game, you'll like it here too. The story is engaging initially but quickly falls apart the closer you get to the ending. The last chapter in the game made me roll my eyes a lot from all the stupidity displayed among the characters.

Overall I still think that the first game was a better experience, especially for exploration. Here you only have two planets that you constantly go back and forth between and three smaller locations that you can finish in under an hour each. Those two main planets are packed so much with collectibles and fetch/filler content that I swear I spent more time doing those than actually engaging with the main plot. There were times where I forgot where I was at in the main plot because of how long I spent collecting all the trivial things on the map.

Hopefully the third game will be a bit more linear and focused on the actual story itself than a collectathon that puts Ubisoft to shame.

Nah. Can't recommend this game in the current state. This is not even ready for Early Access.

The unit path finding is a joke, not even SC1 has it this bad. The story so far in the campaign is very generic in the current state. Feels like they tried to recycle bits of SC and WC but took the worst parts?

The visuals are so boring. I dislike this whole plasticy vibes that resemble Arcane. Especially on the hair of human characters which looks like a porcelain wig. Speaking of human characters, what is wrong with their eyes? Why do they all have such huge fish looking eyes? They all look like they came out of Lovecraft's Innsmouth town.

I've also had several bugs in the game too. Even in the cutscenes which is laughable. I could go on, but you all get the point. This one does not spark joy.

I had so much fun with this prologue, a game that definitely has a lot of potential. Will keep an eye out for a full release for sure.

A very fun experience with friends. Surprised to see that this is still getting patches after all these years.

Finally the true Lara is back.

I just got this for 2.99$ (on a -80% discount), which I assume means the end of support for this game.

Going into this I assumed this would include all the levels from previous Swen games with modern bells and whistles. But now that I finished them all I'd say that maybe two or three levels from the original game are actually here. Everything else is completely new?

Or maybe I forgot some of the levels in later games after the 3rd one. Went quickly through old YouTube playthroughs and all the levels I saw as I skimmed through the videos are not in this game.

Generally I don't dislike this game. It's fun for what it is. I even enjoy the art style. But if I didn't get it on a sale I wouldn't have given it a positive review.

The Quake remaster is brilliant. Enjoyed every second of it.
And from the current official Addons I highly recommend you try Spiritworld. I might have enjoyed that one even more than the base game? It's such a good Addon.
