Played through the full main campaign with my brother, had a lot of fun! Endgame automation was also very interesting. Very pretty environments and seeing the planet change form as you reach more terraforming is really nice, there is a good amount of detail. When we played (just after their full release) balancing was a little off in the middle of the game (you mostly end up just waiting to reach the next milestone with nothing more you can do), BUT I believe they patched that in an update shortly after we finished the game.

Looking forward to getting the DLC soon, it's awesome that the DLC is buy-once-everyone-plays and it looks really interesting!! It's clear that the devs put a lot of effort into the game and I'm excited for more to come!

(also the Let's Game it Out video on this is hilarious; go check it out if you haven't already, please don't patch the rockets thing devs)

this game made me feel feelings i havent felt in a long long time

The journey you go through with the protagonist, and the other supporting characters will break you emotionally. It's one of the most believable and grounded stories I've experienced and in the words of a youtube comment I saw recently: it's the best movie I've ever played.
(don't worry the gameplay is on another level too, it's like Valve made an open-world game and raised the bar)

i'd still say get it cause you can experience how Vert probably had to drive the car if it was realistic lmao (PS we dont want it to hnadle realistically)

For the campaign: Good story, great gameplay. It's awesome how they managed to make every mechanic work well with the game, and nothing felt tacked on. When it's on sale, the game is worth it for the story alone. It builds a very good world and tells a kinda predictable (at the end) but wonderful story where the stakes feel very real. And you feel like a badass sometimes, like how you I felt when I realized I fought two entire armies as Gordon Freeman in Black Mesa/Half Life, and survived.
