When I first played, I got surrounded by the mysterious viking aesthetics.
It was new, it was exciting. Just simply running around with a bow, hunting deer and boars for hours on end, through the sunlight, nightlight, fog and thunderstorms.
I'd jump in joy with each of my perfectly skilled distant bow+arrow kill.
It was fun, mesmerising, and bountiful. And to this day, it still is.

After I had my fill of loot, I'd come home, to a uniquely built base I spent many hours perfecting with my friends. I'd unload my loot into neatly organised chests, or on the floor for my friends to do for me.
I'd then realise that we now have the right materials needed to craft something cool.
The next area, the next boss, the next thing we needed for the next cool thing, is now one step closer to achieving.

So onward to our next adventure we go. By foot, by cart, by boat, through plains, hoards of mobs, or away from those we fear.
It's never a dull day in Valheim.
There's always something to do. Something to improve. Pictures to take. Enemies to kill. Wonders to build.

If you want the game feel fresh again after hundreds of hours (vanilla is still great), check out the new areas that get added with the updates, or even try Modded with "Epic Loot" for example (it excites my inner loot gremlin).
