Skip this hot mess.

It's basically a nonsensical story about cold war paranoia and secret programs in a walking simulator. The audio overlaps. I got stuck in the geometry. Pop-ins galore. I can understand it's amateur hour, and I do like bad movies, but nah moving this to the abandoned pile. You really just walk randomly trying to get random keys to progress to the next audio snippet or bad video overlay. There are much better choices in the genre - I'd suggest Everybody's Gone To The Rapture instead.

HOG only, but flat colors and the scene eventually resets if you take too long. Does have tons of hints via pickups. But meh. Pass.

Multiple character choices, with different powers, meaning different ways to solve puzzles, which makes for great replayability! Great story, awesome visuals and audio. All the usual WEG trimmings such as commentary and bloopers.

My only 'regret' was getting so engrossed in what I was doing that I forgot to make a separate save before the point of no return to test other possibilities ;) This is a no brainer, if you like any adventure games, get this. Period.

Mechanics and VO are ok I guess, but it's really short and the story isn't complete.

The controls are too floaty. There's no margin for error. Right away the 'temple' levels have actual arrow painted ont he walls to tell you which way to go because the design will not to that itself. Pointless "cutscenes" not telling anything. No resolution options.

Really pondered about getting a refund. Not doing it in the end, hoping it'll help the dev do better next time.

Mechanically, this /could/ have been a forgettable puzzle game. Guide your character by go-in-a-direction-until-stopped to meet your objectives then the exit. Maybe 'move' some objects. Keep the *** cats alive. Nobody escapes.

But the presentation is sooo awesome it's really more than the sum of its parts. I love horror flicks, I love the 80s, and I love 80s horror flicks so this is riiiight up my alley! Such flair, screenshots don't do it justice as there's little touches everywhere to create an awesome ambiance while you work on the puzzling. I'm nearing the end of it and have resisted the use of the included hint system so far, I'm having too much fun working on it. Most of the puzzles are not of the hardest variety but there's some nice brain burner sprinkled in for sure.

Sometimes ppl wish for a "meh" or "neutral" option for recommendation. I would wish for a "F*CK YEAH" in this case :P

All exploration, no combat, a bit of collectibles to hunt around for in a sunken city.. I liked my time with Submrged a lot, cute and relaxing. You can't fall off ledges, it is 100% pure exploration. The palette reminded me a bit of older Tomb Raider titles, enough climbing to recall (again older) Assassin's Creed title, just a whole lot 'lighter' in mood and yes gameplay.

Done 100% in a bit under 6 hours, used a map for the last 3 collectibles I had missed.
