One of the most wholesome fun games out there on the market. It's worth it, I promise.

This game is surprisingly great and story rich.

It had quite a rocky release so I am glad I waited a good while before I dove in (Patch 1.6+). I did not encounter any major bugs or glitches with my missions except once in this sandbox, and that was circumvent able so it was a very smooth ride overall.

The combat and cyberware system is the cherry on top for me in this game.

Every new wipe you see a black man with a wooden spear running towards an older looking asian female lady who is desperately crafting bandages as she goes.

10/10.

A masterpiece, truly a work of art. It connects and resonates like no other game, while still being extremly relaxing. There's plenty of soul in this game - a gust of fresh wind in this oversatured gaming market who pushes out zombie-like experiences most of the time. One of a kind, a must buy. You feel Human.

Getting better & better with every patch this game. I was at first very sceptic since I loved Q3Arena & Quake Live - and despise games like Overwatch that focus entirely on the MOBAesque ability mechanic.

This is an entirely different beast than that though, the hero selection may seem like that at first - but it's really minimal actually, some can jump better and strafe better sure. It all comes down to core skill, how good mechanics you have and timing at the end of the day. This is how I came to love this game more & more every time I play.

The most important part, which is movement - I think they nailed perfectly.
VQ3 Style strafe-jumping as a standard across most champs, but even QW/CPMA style'd variations exist in the roster. Also a hard to master sliding mechanic from Q4 in Slash's arsenal that can be really deadly in the right hands.

The gun arsenal is the same as always, they even got some good ol' skins that you will remember from Q3, heck even Quake 1 & 2.
For example the Nail Gun to Plasma Gun, which even changes your projectile style to the old plasma ball - with the same Q3 sound aswell. There's plenty of conversions like this that doesn't affect gameplay but only the visual style and sound feedback, which is awesome.

There's also a single queue for other game modes such as InstaGib, which was kind of popular amongst the Q3 crowd, and for good reason. It's kind of more laidback Quake but can get real hefty real quick too. More mods are surely to come - with CTF confirmed and in the most recent making.

If you like your gameplay really fast-paced, with competitive matches that require and rewards your skill, tactics, and suprise movement this game is the way to go. It's also kind of a new game so a beginner now is nothing to be afraid of, most of us will embrace newcomers, and if you ask nicely they may even learn you some trick or two.

The community is old and there's a bunch of hardcore gamers in here, most of them are just nice or laidback and silent - which there is nothing wrong in being. I think it just adds a nice flair to this game. Ignore all the more vocal players (usually raging and complaining, you see this a ton on reddit, heck any subreddit for a game actually).

There's also some very good guides for gameplay on YouTube, Zy (Rocket Jump Ninja) and Frothy (FrothyOmen) for example if you like to start off with some intel or just refine your basics.

Once you go Quake, you never truly go back to something else to get that thrill only this game can give. This is a worthy successor and something you should try out if Q3 isn't your style graphically.

The best co-op (6 players max) on the market tbh, it got it all, chose from 10 different classes/perks. An hell of an weapon arsenal, really got everything you'd want - and best of all, they feel really good to shoot. Poppin' Zeds heads have never been more satisfying and funny.

The maps are great altough some of them could be bigger (read a lil more open) but that is a very minor con, the Zeds mechanics are unique and have different vurnerabilities which is great, it gets even more fast phased if you upper your difficulty which is refreshing.

The more people join, the bar gets set a bit higher to even out the kills for all. If you like shooters with a refreshing set of mechanics and great gunplay, this is something you'd want to check out. Really good with friends and just chillin'.

Garbage tier game, uses the same engine as PlanetSide2 but with a lazy barren map to boot. Also the engine dosen't really support this kind of gameplay, hitbox is wild. Bullets may go towards your opponent but it looks like you are spraying a can of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ onto them, with the tracers flying all over the place. Many useless features that are straight ported from PS2, but lazily implemented for a battle royale shooter. Not even slightly worthy of a competative title, try again. Also TheyBreak Game Company, sinking this game as they sunk PS2 when they took over from Sony. Cashgrab gone f2p.

CS:GO Review
CS:GO > CS: Source. A very good game overall, with the biggest plus being the large competitive scene. No major complaints, it's clean, got good maps, great weapon variation and most important of all fun to play.

This game is like dating an alcoholic. They're a lot of fun to be around, and you legitimately like them. But they have serious problems that ruin the whole relationship. You keep thinking they'll change, but they never will. Instead they'll just try to sell you an Event Pass to see parts of their body.
