Guild Wars 2 is in a really good spot right now. For the average free to play player you can experience a lot of content/stories and sink tons of hours in developing and gearing up your character while exploring Central Tyria. It's definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a new game to scratch that MMO itch (One of the best in my opinion).

Regarding expansions... (AMAZING) From PoF, HoT and EoD (Search those on your own time :) ) what a wonderful experience. I have about 77 hours by the time of review on steam and around 950+ hours before steam release. When i started to play MMO's i was looking for a good game to keep me busy.

While WOW, BDO, RS etc are all very good games, none compare to the comprehensive engagement GW2 offers. After all the hours I've played solo or with friends i haven't even scratched the surface of experiencing everything GW2 has to offer. I still have so much to learn and acquire.

This game is truly a collectors wonderland! It suits all kinds of player styles, if you love levelling (great! alot of characters and classes to experience), if you love gearing up characters (great! and tons of options regarding classes), if you love crafting (great! even more options!). There is something for all kinds of players.

Content ranges from PvE/instanced PvE to PvP to WvW and much more. If this sounds like something you would like to experience i highly recommend you to try it out. Im not a GW2 veteran like "Teapot" or "Mukluk" but i think i have sufficient knowledge to tell you this game can keep you going for years to come.
