This is a very, very short game, unless you want to hunt for achievements. In this virtual gift store, you purchase some items in a single room shop. There's a bit more if you poke around, but the store page untruthfully says 1-2 hours. In fact, it can be leisurely played to completion in ten minutes.

Lacks gameplay elements that justify the $15 price tag. More of a visual novel that has a "No!" audio clip, when the space-bar is pressed to advance an hour-long story. It has an endearing story, with a message of self-empowerment, but that alone should not be a reason for recommending a game.

Early Access Review
A tribute to the modest NPCs. This game puts you in a world full of scripted characters, who wander through their virtual lives, while you learn about them and they learn about you.

I have only played through the tutorial, as of writing this review. It took me four hours, and I got an achievement that only 7% of owners obtained.

If you have ever idly followed around a city character in a RPG, while ignoring the main quest line, then you will probably have a lot of fun exploring this game world, even with the beta-level bugs like falling through the maps. And there are a lot of repetitive elements - such as emails, quest plotlines, and random notes. Hopefully these get improved as the game exits Early Access status.

Visual novel with great writing and some logic puzzle elements. Lots of clicking to advance text, but the animations and music makes it entertaining.
Had some trouble with Steam's Proton compatibility software, as I needed to use version five to get the game started. Then, the game appeared in black and white shaders, not the "sepia tone" as seen in the store page.

Short point and click game, with a sad story about an unappreciative kid, who learns too late about valuing his parents. Felt that it was too simplistic, as was the cooking puzzles. It included a "cookbook" but only as in-game menu, with tiny font. Struggled to play this through to the end, despite the easy gameplay. We wanted to learn about Indian culture and cuisine, but left disappointed.

Very good but very short. Mystery solved in under 120 minutes.
Plays exactly like the board game, "Scotland Yard: Consulting Detective"
The video production, acting, and costumes were all excellent. They made the experience.
For the price, the lack of content is okay, but the story was over by the time we were comfortable with the UI
Hoping "Zojoi" can produce a DLC to give us more stories.
We cracked the case using an Ubuntu Linux desktop computer, with Steam's Proton compatibility software.

Really enjoyed this short adventure game. Basically, it is 3D platform puzzle gameplay, where you have got to reach designated locations. The level design is excellent, and there are charming characters with witty dialogue to keep you exploring. The anti-establishment jokes had me chuckling throughout the five-hour tour of this industrial-destroyed island.

Urinated off the tallest building on an Ubuntu Linux desktop using a keyboard and mouse control. The gamepad also worked well enough. The game uses the Unity Game Engine. It has an excellent soundtrack that fits into the narrative, as the player passes by radios. There is some replayability, also, with multiple endings and multiple, optional layers of NPC interactions. I had a lot more fun with this game than many other more expensive adventure games, and it had some sophisticated gameplay that felt well-edited for maximum fun. Despite being tounge-in-cheek satire, this is not a half-assed effort. Highly recommended.

Super creepy while wearing headphones... Hearing voices whispering in your head - giving advice on your gameplay, telling the story narrative, and enhancing the ambient mood. Found the combat gameplay difficult, until some undocumented combos were discovered.

There are graphic depictions of violence and mental health issues, but surprisingly, the game designers handle these topics in a mature, considerate way.

The story is told through a whole lot of long cutscenes; will be walking from one movie to another. That's the way of this type of cinematic game.

Played Hellblade with Steam's Proton compatibility software, with the "gamemode" parameter and changing the graphics back to DirectX-11. Used a gamepad for controls.

Recommend for those seeking an authentic, mystical, adventure game with intermittent, console-style, boss combat challenges. This goes on sale often and shows up inside some bundles from time to time.

my wife and I enjoy the crypotography of the "Prose and Codes" game and we like mystery-solving games, so "covert action" was pretty good experience, despite the thirty-five year old age... there is a unique, randomized criminal plot that gets generated each time that you play... one big complaint was the stinky, real-time combat mini-game

purchased this title in a "sid meiers bundle" somewhere... but was anything done to update software to justify the steam store price?

Could have been an interesting first-person exploration into eldritch occultism. Instead it is a uninspired collect-a-thon game, with stiff combat, boring story cutscenes, and unskippable minigames - such as platforming with mouse-click jumping. Barf!
