Clever idea for a game, but the gamepad controls did not work for me. Having to press the D-PAD and ABXY buttons at the same time would often fail to trigger at the same time. And I tried two brands of gamepads. This was especially troublesome where songs required chording-combos.

During the long tutorial, I was intregued by what might be another decent rhythm game, because I enjoyed playing the Frederic games. This seemed to be a dexterity-rhythm game, resource-crafting, with decent voice acting. Unfortunately, even the keyboard controls were a bit of a mess, so the battle gameplay was not a fun experience.

I played this game on ubuntu linux 16.04 & 19.10 with radeon mesa drivers. The game uses XNA engine. The game plays more accurately with the keyboard, even though it was obviously designed for the controller and heavily recommends one.
