At first the challenge comes from avoiding getting hit (obviously). as you progress, it becomes easier and easier not to get hit, but going faster becomes a bit of the fun, at which point you balance speed with caution.

The gameplay holds up very well over multiple runs, with boons of the gods ensuring runs are fairly unique, and the story and art direction are top notch.
