For context I refunded this game back when it came out and only came back to it because I was able to snag it for more than half off.

This game is the most milk toast, mediocre "horror" game that I have honestly ever played.

I can't even say this game is bad, it's competent, but does nothing interesting to keep the player engaged.

The combat is mind-numbingly bland, the story is very predictable, all the characters are one note. The game strives to be a spiritual successor to Dead Space and falls miserably short, and being as bland as possible while doing nothing worth playing this game for.

Save your money, go play the original Dead Space instead, this game suffers the greatest sin in being so bland and unremarkable that it just isn't worth anyone's time.
