In short: It's worth of the Deus Ex name, with great level design and different playstyles accounted for in every mission. It looks pretty nice too and the attention to detail by the developers is truly something to behold. The hub city you spend most of your time in is great.

On the bad side, I had a lot of crashes in the city hub during my playthrough, a problem which apparently persists since the game's launch. Without going into details, you can tell that the game was pushed for an early release and episodic content, which is unfortunate. Can't win with the corporate video game industry I guess.

All in all, if you're a fan of Deus Ex 1 and 3, go for it.

Underrail is very flawed and expects a lot from the player. The game is difficult, at times obscure and, in its worst parts, a bit tedious. But if you can stomach it, you'll enjoy one of the richest cRPGs in the vein of Fallout 1 and 2.

I cannot speak positively about the fact that sub-optimal builds make the game unplayable, or that a lot of background knowledge is sometimes needed. Inventory management can be pretty annoying as well.

All that aside, you got a great setting, good writing and deep character development and combat systems.

If you're into Fallout 1 and 2, don't mind reloading a lot and have patience, then you're in for a bumpy, but overall cool experience.

Cozy city-building game. If you're into old Impressions-era city builders or the Anno series in general: Go for it.

Has its flaws, but it's the best historical Total War by far.

Loaded with bugs, even with (mandatory) fan patches. Even so, the world feels quite organic and so does the adventuring. Flawed, but good.

Great sequel.

As someone who casually played Q3 Arena in PC Café's back in the 2000's, I was surprised to find this game to be so much fun. Granted, if you're not someone who's played Quake a lot (like me), you'll lose. A lot. But the gun play and the intensity of the combat still holds up so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ well.

If you're looking for a fun competitive and skill-based shooter, this is the one. It ain't perfect and most of the criticisms I've read from the community about loading times, interface and post-match ease of use all apply. But it's still tons of fun. Here's to the devs pushing this one further!

I enjoy shooters and I enjoy RPGs. More than anything though, I enjoy a good story. I'm only 6 hours in and I am really impressed with the voicework, the music and the worldbuilding so far. But the thing is, in order to enjoy the story, I have to keep playing the game. And the game, so far, hasn't been too much fun. Character building feels nonexistent, while the shooter mechanics are just godawful and clunky.

I've played and still enjoy very clunky and flawed games, but if the movement, AI and overall gameplay feels completely dull in these first few hours... yeah, I don't know if my time's worth suffering through a wonky cover-shooter.

In the Citadel hub, it felt like I was playing a KOTOR of sorts and I really liked it. But as soon as I had to face the actual GAME... yeah, no.

Great cRPG with an interface that's not as obtuse as the classics. The story is a slow burner, but the combat system and the exploration keep you engaged throughout. Great voice acting and music.

The world is really rich, inviting you to jump into all kinds of side stories with your would-be companions. Gameplay-wise, it's a classic isometric RPG from the guys that made the genre what it is. It's a lot of fun, but it WILL require effort, by getting into the old DnD ruleset and accepting constant reloading as a part of the game.
It's a great game and totally worth it, if you're into classic RPGs.

On the flipside, the expansion is really mediocre, to be honest, especially after the great experience of Shadows of Amn. If you're on the fence about continuing the story in the expansion, make sure that you really, really want to. Throne of Bhaal is hard (at times unnecessarily so) and the storytelling much less developed. Ironically, the expansion is much more "epic" (both in character/monster levels), but the scope of the world and encounter design less so.

TL;DR: Great game, a classic. Expansion is optional.
