Opening sequence is relatively dark. Main character / cat-racter? in this game for me looks _almost_ the same as my cat, Bennetje, that I've recently lost to saddle thrombosis. It was a mixed bag of emotions really, and the opening sequence forced me to take a 5 minute break.

As far as the gameplay itself goes, it is a puzzle game first and foremost. It is not super hard, has a great atmosphere that is unique. It takes about 4-6 hours to finish it, and probably 1-2 hours more if you want to be a completionist.

I think it is definitely worth giving it a shot. It can get _relatively_ darker at times, but nothing you wouldn't see in a Disney movie as far as the extent of it goes.
