Big beautiful bloated world filled to the brim with repeated bosses, massive enemies that aren't fun to fight, useless items, and a difficulty progression that is entirely too easy until the very end in which it becomes harder than any other Souls-like game I've played. I didn't have a bad time, but I certainly didn't have a good one either.

Update: Having now watched a lot of reviews it seems like a fair amount of people shared the same sentiment as I do, many of which loved the DLC. I will try it out and hopefully will enjoy that much more than the base game.

Numbers go up, dopamine triggers, repeat.

Balatro has great overall design which rewards the player for experimenting with every Joker and deck-type. I found this to be a great game to play in short bursts at times when my personal life was very busy. I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys Deck-Building Roguelikes such as Slay the Spire or Monster Train.

I simple concept executed perfectly. Zeepkist has a lot of depth and in many ways reminds me of Trackmania in how simple it is at it's core, but how deep the mechanics can be pushed. Whether I am grinding out easier maps to find crazy shortcuts or replaying harder levels for full completion, I had loads of fun in this early access version of the game. I am excited to see what this game ends up becoming in the future, so far so good!

Pro Gymnast a challenging game with complex controls but the humor and physics fill the time it takes to learn the controls and beat the harder levels. I found this game to have a similar feel to Stilt Fella and I love that game.

Stilt Fella is one of those silly-control games that supersedes its gimmick with creative level design and surprisingly intuitive controls -- once you get used to them. If you like games like Jump King you'll probably love this.
