This game seems fairly straight-forward on the surface. Pick some cards, try not to die, got it. Where this game starts to sing is when you start learning some of the seemingly limitless ways that cards & relics can combine to absolutely break the game. The first time it happened to me I was hooked and wanted to see what other combinations I could make. With four characters each with unique cards and play styles, there is near infinite replayability on offer. All of this served up with fantastic art, music and some fun lore if you dig around enough. 130+ hours in at the time of this review and I have still yet to clear A20 heart with any character but I keep coming back for more. If you enjoy good games, you will like this one.
