After finally finishing all the achievements of the game, I can say this game is great. It's not your classic Armored Core game, and that's OKAY. This AC is however, a huge improvement over the 5th gen, which I BARELY played. After LOVING all the games in the series, 5th gen really killed it for me. I knew I was going to purchase the game either way and didnt watch trailers or get spoiled. This game did not disappoint me. There are some factors that I dislike, like time it takes to multi lock. This made me barely use missiles in the game. Energy shotties were probably one of my favorites but to S Rank some of the boss fights you just gotta go dual Zimmermans/Songbirds OR Needle Guns. I personally did not enjoy using the gatling guns but it seemed they were in EVERY S Rank video for the missions I struggled with. Other missions just required some memorization. The story of the game is fairly put together, characters are pretty okay and the different story lines make you love and or hate some of them, and you actually get to take some of them out in missions. The missions seem pretty linear as most AC games are, but with the added logs you need to collect there are some missions that make you explore and are pretty large areas with hidden mini bosses, etc. I did finish all 3 story lines before the boss nerf, didnt think it was necessary at all IMO. I played this game on the keyboard with standard controls. This may be why I didnt like missile multi lock, trying to hold Q/E while using WASD to move was not really the easiest way to play, along with the charge weapons. To be fair, I'm not really crazy about the chargeable weapons even though I think there were a few in the previous generations. Not sure what else to add here.
