BLOCKLAND... not even once.

There are two things that make a visual novel game good - story and range of choices.

Story is ridiculously didactic and pretentious. I didn't care about or relate to the characters at all.
There's only one section of the game where you shape the plot in any way, shape or form, and even then your choices seem to only have a very neglible effect.

Great concept for a game implemented horribly.

For younger players, especially those younger than the game itself, I'd recommend installing Deus Ex: Revision after purchasing this game, which is available for free on Steam that modernises graphics along with some game design elements, as well as adding 255 achievements.

This game is basically the Id of an early 2000s edgy straight white American male encapsulated in its purest unadulterated form.

Vanilla game is guilty pleasure, expansion 'Apocalypse Weekend' which they tacked on to the end of this Steam release is just really bad.
