First Souls-Game I played through completely.

I played Bloodborne for around 40 hours (yeah, I'm not that great) but somehow it became harder and harder and I didn't have the will to power through it back in the days, this was pretty close to the release of Bloodborne.

I played Demon's Souls Remake, finding it pretty good (I hate the reaper) but I grew tired of fighting the final boss as it felt a lot harder than any other boss in the game.
So I finished Demon's Souls 99% and I'm okay with that, I don't feel like I missed much by beating the final boss.

And then came Elden Ring:
This game was so fascinating that even with the hardest fights, I wanted to beat the fights, even just to see what's next.
The world is so great, there are so many secrets to find, the athmosphere is so great, the side quests are also great and it's just so refreshing to not run to questmarker X to finish a quest but to really listen to the NPCs to complete a sidequest.

I felt like playing Ocarina of Time back in my childhood days:
I noted down stuff NPCs in the game said to try to finish the side quests, the quests were all great and the rewards felt truly rewarding.

I explored every part of the map (and still missed a lot, as I saw in other playthroughs), I switched my playstyle mid-game, which made it really hard for a lot of time, but that didn't keep me from going through it all, wanting to see the end (and also not wanting it to end).

I died to one side-boss over 100 times, but I loved even the 8 hours or so I spent trying to kill the boss (no, not the famous M-Boss).

The game truly is a masterpiece and sadly a game that I wouldn't consider that replayable if you already spent a lot of time with it, and that's fine, some games are like that (Breath of the Wild I would consider a prime candidate).
But I can't experience the beauty of this game again and that saddens me.

Even if you didn't play and Souls-Game before, please give this one a try.
