Love the game, it's very challenging. But if you're new in the rally games - i don't really recommend this one. Try something more arcadey, then move to this. In the first ten hours i was crushing my car as far as i can. It was really difficult for me. Only one small mistake can kill your run, tire puncture or terminal damage, it doesn't really matter. You cutted when co-driver said "dont cut"? - you're done. You crushed into a tree in the night and now car lights is broken? You're done.
Graphics are great, but optimization is not. If you have issues with FPS, reduce crowd settings to medium or lower. I had so many issues with that on Argentina stages. But now it's fixed for me.

The game have very big choice of cars. Literally everyone can find their favorite car. Many historic cars is here and i really like it.

Sound is just orgasmic, it's not 10/10, it's 11/10. You really feel the car engine, turbos, exhaust sounds, transmission. After this engine roars i really wanna buy a car hahah. Audi Quattro sounds really shocked me, it's perfect, i also checked historic videos with Quattro and it's 100% match. Every car has unique engine sounds (hi, WRC), thanks Codemasters for this high-quality stuff.

Physics is nice. I can feel the difference on wet and dry gravel, it's really good. But tarmac is just OK for me. You also can feel the diff between dry and wet tarmac, but it doesn't feels like tarmac... I don't know how to describe this, but when you driving on dry tarmac, it feel's like the whole surface covered in oil or something like that. So tarmac for me doesn't feel real, but it's OK. Also you can feel the difference between FWD, RWD, 4WD cars and it's great. I really do not recommend to drive RWD cars if you're newbie in rally games. It's extremely difficult.

Don't know what to say about car damage system. Yeah, you can get a tire puncture if you crush into the obstacle or because of bad landing. Car body deformation is neat, but i disliked only one thing. If you crush your car many times in some obstacles - your car's bumper and other details will look like it's rusty corrosive metal. I dont think it look like this IRL. Also i didn't felt a difference, when your transmission or springs requires replacement. I can feel if your engine is damaged, tyres needs replacement, but other parts - no. So idk what to say about this. In this case WRC looks better.

Career is... it's just stages and that's all. Nothing interesting in here. Better to play daily, weekly or montly challenges. I played career only few times just to check out some cars.

Locations and stages is well designed. Every country has their unique gameplay. For example: Argentina is 70-80% really tight corners, rocks and other danger stuff. Finland stages - maximum speed, jumps and bumps everywhere. Better to see it yourself, you will understand and i hope - going to like it. But there is no really beautiful nature backgrounds, most of the time it feels like you driving in some forest or in the glade.

DiRT Rally 2.0 also have car tuning. And i'll say it's good competitive feature. You can adjust the settings just for you. But if you don't understand anything in this - you can check youtube. Also i dont understand why there is no Steam Workshop, Codemasters can make workshop and everyone will have access to the best tunings for cars, but there's nothing...
--------------------------
In the end i wanted to thank Codemasters for this game. Some people complain about paywall and i understand them. But if we talking about the game, not the money - it's good. Musthave for a rally lover. Even if you dont have a wheel - buy it! I spent like 150+ hours on keyboard and i tried to complete challenges everyday because it's fun. Sometimes you will crush your car, sometimes you'll get in the top 100 in daily challenges. Everything can happen here, DiRT Rally 2.0 gave me a lot of positive emotions ( also negative ones, when you crush your car near the finish line :D ). If you want to get this game - i higly recommend to buy GOTY edition to get every location and cars, I bought it on a sale and i don't regret it.
