It's a good RPG, where the RP part isn't just for the checklist. Some side quests are like bounties (go there, kill that), some have meaningful consequences (like character dies if you let them do as they want). Hidden questless encounter that had changed the entire feel of act 2 was... unexpected and pleasant to behold. Such little secrets are 11/10.
Exploration is pleasant, and all you fellow people with fomo will be pleased to sometimes find sometimes epic loot, sometimes hidden lore in that last unexplored corner of the map. Mostly upgrade materials though.
People comparing the game to Skyrim are comparing two different genres, basically, with two different mindsets behind the games. I'd say it feels a little less speedy than Forza Horizon, but chopping monsters is more challenging than in Overcooked 🤡
Overall it's a good continuation of PoE story and an addition to the world of Eora.
