Last MotoGP game I've played was MotoGP URT 3 from 2005 so I don't know how it compares to recent editions but overall it's super fun. It's really satisfying when you notice you're getting faster and faster as you practice and put more hours into the game.

There are some issues though:
- you can't create custom teams or bike liveries in career mode - it's especially sad since you could do that in earlier games,
- the 'MotoGP Wall' in career mode makes no sense - you either press 'x' to have good relationship with other riders and get more development packs for the bike, or press 'o' to have bad relationship with other riders and get no development packs - there are no benefits of pressing 'o' so what's the point of this 'feature'?
- the AI seems to be pretty inconsistent - really fast on some circuits and surprisingly slow on other circuits,
- it seems to be impossible for the AI to get an Incident Warning - the AI is too late on the brakes and rams into you mid-corner and you're the one getting the warning,
- there's MotoGP Academy with time challenges for each circuit but it's super inconsistent - there are a couple time challenges that are virtually impossible to get (e.g. 3rd sector Austin) and then there are challenges so easy that you can get gold while blindfolded (e.g. Buddh),
- there are Live GP events where you compete with other players but most of the time it's impossible to participate - you enter the lobby and get a 'Connection error with Milestone services' after 30 seconds,
- sometimes you get kicked from the match due to the error mentioned above and get penalised for 'disconnecting from the match' by losing points in the ranking,
- some circuits (Chang) have a notorious online fuel bug, where you run out of fuel on the last lap even if you reduce power mapping to 1 (I also had it happen in Red Bull Ring).

Even though I'm having fun, some of the problems are highly annoying and it also seems like Milestone is known for ignoring persistent problems so I can't recommend a fully priced game in such state. If you want to get it, wait for a discount.
