It has a lot of things I love as a dwarf lover, but there's a lot of frustrating mechanic that make it hard to fully love as a VS lover.

namely: the ability to accidentally run yourself into a corner is way too easy to do. why can't you just make the maps wrap around?
completing the secondary objectives is too hard. i spend the entire time running around looking for them and can only compete them like 80% of the time, which i understand is still 'most of the time' but that 20% I can't find all the items (especially because im only given 30 seconds to leave once the boss is dead) is really unsatisfying for something that in the BASE game is supposed to really be a "gimme" just make more of the item spawn. its not hard.

some other minor complaints like having to unlock overclocks for weapons makes them useless the very first time you use them every time and that's honestly just not that fun of a mechanic either, but its typically not that big of a deal as long as you don't take up more than 1 of your weapon slots with one of them.

Overall its still way better than a lot of clones out there, but still feeling lacking. hope they can fix these things in the future. for now for the price for big bullet heaven fans I think this is a buy, but I really do hope they can fix some of the issues in the future.
