After playing this and then Outcast immediately after, I can safely say that I will be returning this title again and not Outcast. Jedi Academy's lightsaber combat is nuanced and satisfying. The locations are interesting and the soundtrack is classic John Williams. Both hardcore fans and people who are vaguely aware of Star Wars should really enjoy this game, the missions are varied and the combat is tight and dynamic.

I've played all the Myst games multiple times and just got around to completing this one. What took me so long? Well, I was pretty apprehensive. Hardcore fans of the series tend to dismiss this game, but my apprehension was misplaced as I thoroughly enjoyed this.

Pros:
-Very clever puzzles
-Gorgeous Zones
-Amazing Atmosphere
-Puzzles are incredibly rewarding
-Creative story, interesting characters
-Multiple endings

Cons:
-Cheesy (Less than 4 but moreso than 3)
-Not super difficult, about on par with Exile
-Tablet mechanics can be buggy/frustrating/annoying
-Acceptable but otherwise unmemorable soundtrack (whereas the other games have stellar soundtracks)
-Quite short (ties into the difficulty)

Most puzzles here are very fair and some are downright brilliant (Parts of Noloben and all of Todelmer and Laki'ahn), but as mentioned eariler the new tablet mechanic can be quite confusing and clumsy. However, this game is still definitely worth your time if you are a fan of the Myst series. If you're new to the series, I'd suggest any of the other entries before this one, but it's definitely a solid entry to the series.

This game is incredibly stressful...which means that it's doing a damn good job. Phenomenal story and an even better presentation. The game hooked me within the first five minutes. The pacing is great and I only ever stopped playing because I was freaking out or because I didnt realize that it was 5am. There are a few bugs but none of them affect gameplay. Definitely recommended.

This game is brilliant. Totally genius. The mechanics are simple but the depth is outrageous. This game literally puts everything in your hands and the game is limited only by your skill Hilarious voice overs and script in the single player, awesome multiplayer modes, and a supremely crafted core mechanic. Pick it up.

This series flawlessly executes the damn near impossible. It creates a slightly darker yet still highly recognizable Star Wars universe set many years after Episode 6. I wish we had more games like this. The tone and style is absolutely beautiful and fresh while still staying true to the original material. It revisits classic scenes and expands them into an enormous level while still creating a fresh environment with surprises around every corner. Highly highly highly recommended.

!PORT WARNING! This is a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ port. Controls are bearable, but not by much. The concepts here are really cool though, and it's presented very effectively. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for an intelligent, slower paced game.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is this game something. It's actually not fun. Not at all. It's really great though. The game really makes you feel awful about what you're doing. It's essentially the RTS equivalent of a shooter that shows you the finest moments in the life of the guy that you just murdered.

The Mass Effect series is a really fantastic series, don't let anyone confuse you on that, and the first entry is probably the best. A true RPG with shooter elements and not the other way around. Tone, art direction and presentation in this game is fantastic, and with great gameplay, characters and plot to back it up.

This game is so good and I HATE IT

Fantastic art direction and gameplay, with a powerfully delivered story that is a refreshing change in pace from the dull myriad of soulless shooters.
