Possibly my favorite Total War game I've played out of all of them. Takes place during the dark ages all the way up to the start of the Renaissance age. Map includes all of Europe, North Africa, and a large portion of the Middle East. Graphics are nothing amazing but they are good enough that it doesn't look bad. Besides just being a fun game it also has some hilarious banter between factions, here's one exampe: English General: "Our foes, the French, it is said, are better lovers than they are fighters. This is true lads, ask any goat, pig or other farmyard animal."
