cannot recommend this game enough. immediately did another run as chris after beating the game for the first time as jill. even writing this review makes me wanna play it again.

this game is priced far too high considering you can get a factory sealed copy of the ps2 version on ebay for $30, but ultimately nocturne is one of my absolute favorite games of all time and i can't in good faith give it a thumbs down. playing it for the first time is an experience like no other

this game is so good i've owned it 3 separate times

worth absolutely every penny. not nearly as arcane as people make it out to be, most of the challenge in learning the game came from the ui which has been MASSIVELY streamlined for the steam version. you can very easily get hundreds if not thousands of hours out of this game

this game makes me hate myself, yet i can't stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥ playing it

love this game. the depth of dialogue is unmatched, and it's genuinely amazing how expansive this nearly 25 year old game is. one thing i think the black isle fallout games did better than any of the ones that came after is allow the player to be as evil as they want. there is some seriously dark stuff you can do in this game, far exceeding blowing up megaton or selling arcade into slavery. selling your companions into slavery is a baseline feature in this game, and you can become a slaver beyond that. if you're patient enough to get past the admittedly very difficult early game, what you end up finding is a CRPG that defined its generation of gaming. strongly recommend. you can become a porn star as well, so that's cool.

i get destroyed every match by people who have been playing the game since 2016. anyway, this is the best fps game i've ever played. would recommend
