See, I played every Horizon game so far, and I used to love them. FH1 was absolutely amazing and showed what's possible, FH2 had the best vibe in a videogame I've ever felt, FH3 is just nostalgia for me at this point and the map is extrem fun, in terms of FH4, that's the game where I got the most playtime and everything possible you can get. FH5 disappointed me, Didn't even played it more than a week and then it ended up in the trash.

Beam made me happy in every way. And I say that as a campaign-loving person.
You got scenarios with races, crashes, chases, PROPER offroading, delivery stuff etc etc etc. You got iirc 3 small stories with multiple chapters. You got a preview of the actual big story that maybe will be added any time soon. And they won't make it as ♥♥♥♥♥♥ as Horizon.
But out of all what i just said, the absolute best is the multiplayer.

See, to crash a car is one thing, but to crash it into a friend who didn't expect that, and goes up in flames is way more fun than you think. And it's not just crashing.
Chases are THE most intense. F*ck Need for Speed and all these other wanna-be underground games, here you have REAL problems when you hit that bump in the wrong way, and if the cop pits you, you probably gonna die if you can't control your car.

Talking about controlling. BeamNG feels good with a steering wheel, you can become god when you can get into it just enough. And a controller works extremely fine, too. I played both, awesome feelings.
Also, drifting isn't just SLAM DA ♥♥♥♥♥♥ HANDBRAKE AND TURN DA WHEEL, DONE. You need to have MUCH skill to even drift the slightest bit. Pretty much everything in this game is skill based. I love it. Also, tuning has an extreme depth.


So, long story short. As a story-loving, NfS, FH, FM, GTA and The Crew player, BeamNG is the absolutely best game I've ever played and will ever play. It gets updated frequently, the devs do an awesome job, the game makes everything i wanna do with cars possible.
