This game is a real fun time, and addicting! Definitely recommend.

Edit: I now have nearly 400 hours in this game so I thought I would update my review. I still recommend it (any game I can play for this many hours is obviously a game that I enjoy) but it definitely has it's fair share of issues. The game is still very poorly optimized, runs inconsistently, it's buggy, and rampant with cheaters (playing FPP helps greatly in that area, at least). I'm not sure these are things that will ever be fixed with a newbie company like Bluehole. That said, I still get great enjoyment and satisfaction out of this game on a regular basis. I think it really says something that so many people are willing to put up with the extensive con list - it's extremely satisfying when you win a tough battle or win that chicken dinner.

So if you somehow haven't purchased this game yet, proceed with caution. But it's my personal opinion that it's worth it.

Edit 2: 900 hours in the game, still enjoy it but most of the issues I listed above still exist. But I'm also still playing so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Edit 3: 1900 hours in game. I think this is what stockholm syndrome feels like

3600 hours, still play all the time, game is much much more difficult now as the remaining player base are mostly very very good players, but the game is in a much better place now. It runs much better, way fewer bugs (though there's still plenty), there's a revive system, etc. Still love it, but understand why many have quit
