How is this overwhelmingly positive?

Tedious gameplay loop, matched with paternalistic handholding, while still being unclear about limitations of characters and consequences for your actions.

There is a charm to this game, but it's not all that good. I did notice that the majority of positive reviews are under 30 hours. Maybe I'll give the game another try, but I don't see this game standing alongside many of the other games that have the same rating.

Feedback by others is welcome on my impression. Comments open.

Developers decry capitalism - then sells a game for capital.

Great game.

Game works great, with no real issues. And it's a very interesting concept that I've not seen before in a game. Kudos to that.

The problem is one I don't think will be solved. As the gameplay loop is as tedious and shallow as House Flipper, and that game is further along that this. It gives me little hope that the game will improve in any meaningful way.

It's like they never asked a single person who owns investment properties how to make a game about it. Or they asked only cynical and unsuccessful ones to give them a 5 minute rundown on how the process works.

If the developers want to talk to real property investors to get ideas on how a lot of weird issues that happen in the game can easily be solved with out of the box thinking, I'd love to be of assistance and give some insight.

AAA games from companies with budgets and teams 100x the size of this Early Access game drop a title with half the content of this one and call it "completed."
Looking forward to more from this game. 80 hours in the 2 weeks I've had it. Some would consider that a full-time job.
