This game really shouldn't be good. It's a game about driving trucks through Europe. It doesn't sould like it would be, should be, or even could be fun. But somehow the developers took a profoundly boring idea for a game and made it incredibly enjoyable and actually quite engaging. And I can't explain why. but it is, and it's easily worth its asking price

I love Mirror's Edge. It's innovative, original, atmospheric, and amazing in general. I will admit it isn't perfect. The animated cutscenes look bad, and that style should not have been chosen. The figting mechanics are really bad, too. They're floaty, Faith can't handle a gun, reaction time was underused, and it's near impossible to disarm some enemies. But I don't care. This game is great, and it feels great. The parkour has an amazing weight to it, and a feel that no other game has been able to capture since. The game has its flaws (mostly the fighting) but despite that, this game is great. It's unique and amazing, and I love it. If you haven't already, I highly reccomend picking this game up. I hope the sequel is just as good as this was.
