I am not having any issues as some other people are - no frame drops/disconnects etc.
I am playing at 1440p and typically have 60-120fps with a 1070.

The expansion itself is massive and I would even say makes MHW one of the best in the series. If you are on the fence from the negative reviews - buy it and refund within 2 hours if you are having technical issues!

Much improved gameplay

This game is NOT another generic wave shooter

It is what other VR games should be - fully manual reloads, pickups, upgrades, fleshed out story, plenty of options for locomotion. Sometimes the menus can be a bit snobby or finnicky, and with a 1070 I was reprojecting a lot.... This game isnt too scary so far, but very enjoyable! I haven't gotten too far (played 2 missions) but its has some really great ideas. Weird how it came out of nowhere!

Make sure to turn on the completely manual pick ups & reloading as it makes it more immersive.

for an early access sleeper - its pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ good. buy this. multiplayer co-op and pvp in a month or so too apparently

This game is so good

I've played many first persom shooters and this being one of my favorites. First off, the game is absolutely breathtaking. Screenshots and videos cant bring light to such a vivid tropical world. The writing in this game is superb and goes well with the cast they chose for each charachter. Voss is probably the most believable charachter in any game ive played, and equally disturbing and jaded.

With that being said, the game tends to feel repetitive at times, especially when doing the same exact actions to achieve certain goals (hunting animals for better rucksacks). There isn't a lot of diversity in the npcs, and more often than not ill see exact copies of the same npc standing RIGHT next to eachother. It seems nit picky but its true.

The gameplay is finely crafted, and with each headshot and takedown, you feel satisfied. Vehicles drive amazingly well, and the skill trees are refreshing and balanced (not to mention it is easily obtainable to complete them before the end of the game.

Overall, this game is an amazing addition to any collection, and I highly reccomend it.
