as a kid growing up with Lego adventure titles (starting with Lego Island Xtreme Stunts and Lego Bionicle followed by Lego Star Wars, probably one of my favourite games when I was 5), there are so many memorable ones. This is definitely up there in terms of memorable but also with good replay value. Ive beaten this game multiple times over the years and even though the newer Batman titles or even other licensed Lego Adventure game titles might be better in certain aspects, it felt like this one's simplicity combined with its new mechanics from previous titles gave it a breath of fresh air whilst still sticking to the original Lego Adventure game recipe. For the record, I would have probably enjoyed the later Lego Batman titles but I was too busy playing my Call of Duties, my Quake Onlines, my Counter-Strikes, my Garry's mods and so on. Lego Batman was simple enough for my adult self to delve in without feeling choked by the game's story or immersion, and for that I truly appreciated it (and for one of the last times). Once I take a look at Lego Island series, Lego Star Wars 1 and 2 on mac and a couple more titles including the newer Lego Worlds title, I think I will retire the Lego series until I pass it on to the next generation. Hope any of you whipper snappers have fun with this one as I did.
