Certainly the best game I've played released this year, I don't even care for poker that much in general but the depth and complexity of this game reveals itself over time and it's a genuinely genius game.

Removing my old review to say this is just wrong to force these changes onto users who have already been playing for months, and the devs have not sufficiently explained the reasoning behind these changes.

Satisfying solo, there's enough complexity to make the fights satisfying and the progression feels good after about 4 hours. It's even better co-op though, as it allows you to be more flexible. Seems like it might be a patch or two away from being perfectly balanced, but it's already fun and will surely get even better over time as the patches work out some of the kinks

A genuinely interesting story that feels much more like a real "game" than Cosmo D's previous games, with an absolutely stellar soundtrack that is worth listening to on its own.

A fascinating mix between an abstracted tank simulator and a roguelike, nothing like anything I've ever played before.

Takes out more content than it adds, campaign re-uses the same levels over and over to pad the length because they didn't bother to make enough new content to be more than an hour or two long. Would recommend picking up for $5 but anything more than that and you're probably wasting your money.

No doubt in my mind that this is the most polished and complete game that Paradox has ever released. Takes all of the best parts of CK2+its expansions and makes it more polished and great.

Early Access Review
It's Warband but more fully fleshed out, with marginal improvements in basically all areas. Ordinarily I might be a bit disappointed at the lack of a giant leap forward, but Warband was already such a unique game that I am 100% okay with this as a sequel. Mods and the patches that the devs are putting out daily will make this even better.

Every time I watch a space movie or documentary or read about anything to do with space I end up playing this for 20+ hours over the following week. Thanks, KSP.

There is a good game here, but it's buried under bugs and hackers. Playing online means getting regularly teleported and killed over and over by hackers, that is if you can stay connected to Rockstar's servers.
