This game is not nearly as bad as people say it is. For those of us born somewhere around the middle-eighties, who actually played Duke3D when it was released, have heard about this game forever. (No pun intended) So it was no way it could possibly live up to the hype and expectations, when it was finally released in 2011. One and a half decade after we started hearing the name "Duke Nukem Forever". I'm guessing most of the haters have never even started this game. It is not a great game, BUT it has quite a few "Duke" moments throughout the story. That for a true fan of Duke3D will be great! (And bring back found memories)

For the youngster, or people that just did not play duke, or any of the other 3drealms games back in the day, I can see that this game will just come of as a title "trying a little bit too hard" at, well everything.

A true fan of the first 1'st person Duke game, will appreciate this game, it will bring back the "mood" from the 1996 title. And let's face it, this was never EVER trying, or claiming to be the next "Half-Life" game released for the PC-gaming community.
