1) I've been playing since 2012 :D

1a) Doing anything halfway serious in the game takes an hour :P (I was part of this 4000+ player fight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEN10EHEF0c - 7 hours in total, I never want to do that again, I couldn't feel my arse after about 5)

2) Steam counts the hours the launcher is open so even when I'm not logged in, it's still counting (and the number of times I've logged out, wandered off and not closed the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ launcher because it's minimized to tray
