To sum up this game in one word: 'Beautiful'. Deep, touching story, amazing soundtrack (protip: as I write this 7.12.2013, you can still get it for $1), fluid animation, rewarding combat system and a sidekick to rival my old all time favourite sidekick for the place in my heart.

Hats off to Mr. Dodrill for making an unforgettable experience like which I didn't think would exist for bitter ol' fellow like me anymore.

One of the... No, THE best fighting game around. Easy enough to get in but hard to master. Characters are unique and operate smoothly. Even though the character count is relatively small (yeah I know there are coming more as I write) the characters still include the needed fighter stereotypes: The grappler, the one with not so many special attacks but who comboes like crazy, the annoying ranged one etc. while still adding interesting new techniques, for example take miss fortune and her head.
And seriously don't ever, EVER get me started about the soundtrack (or overall atmosphere I guess). Whoever decided to add jazz to a fighting game is a pure genius 'nuff said.
With all that said, I must add that I didn't like the last-boss of story/arcade mode. I found her to be a bit cheap compared to majority of bosses I have fought against.
