I would buy it for iOS, because while a port it isn't worth this much and isn't designed for PC. It looks pretty, but the sound effects are mostly confusing and not often helpful feedback, the UI isn't great, the PC controls feel clunky and there are not hotkeys (plus you have to triple click to issue orders), the layout of the deck causes weird traffic jams. The music is repetitive.

Either go play Papa's Pizerria for free, or go buy World in Conflict for the same price, a real military game you'll love. If you want your fill of planes and won't buy on iOS, you can marvel at people on Youtube like Alistair Smith and Aquila, but remember you're not an octopus like they are.

Feels like a postapocalyptic surgeon simulator come trainee electrical engineer's nightmare ("Isolate ALL the wires, damnit!"). Good to chew through though, works offline, and worth the low price, especially if on sale.

5/7 for the John Cena gag. Insulting random classmates is ridiculous too! I don't know if the datingy stuff is that good, but there are some nice references here. Can potentially be rather funny.

Early Access Review
It's like any idle game, reskinned to the target audience. It doesn't resemble the personality of the real game much, kind of because you can't click-to-act like in the MMO. Anyway, a boring Skinner-box waste of space with no end goal.

It's not terrible, but this game felt very disjointed, underpolished and confusing. It almost feels more like modern art -- it leaves an impression, and then leaves you bored. Why?
  1. The game plays like you're feeding the AIs Rorschach blots, because of the nonlinear nature of the story. Thus AIs don't have development -- for example, Mute will say one thing in notification dialogue, and then comment something silly to the logs which completely ignores the dialogue that just happened.
  2. Second, because of the short length, the side characters are interesting concepts but never have the depth like the family dynasties in the first game. The cool hints and multiple pathways of the first game are cut too making is feel like spare pages taken from a photocopier rather than a cohesive game.
  3. Third, you don't know how to approach the work - there are basically no controls and you will be scrolling forever.

In short, it falls far short of the original but a decent if you really like the setting and tragedy of the first game. It explores interesting topics and is worth a read, but with the messy controls it would be easier to read the stories in a book. There are other games I'd rather buy first. PS: while the Harem playthrough is funny, Hyun-ae's Harem dialogue is very much "tacky ero" nature where she basically expresses... well, in Mute's words -- play it for yourself, okay! I'm replaying to see if the Cake gameplay is more sensible but it was kinda excessive compared to the first game too.
