After 100+ hours i must change my review. This game is fun and I feel great nostalgia playing it :) Well done :D

Hello, Rain Man!

Thanks you for your review! We are really sorry if the game did not meet your expectations. Regarding the remake part: we clearly stated everywhere that this is a remake of the first Cossacks. Even the first line in the "About Game' section of Steam started with "This remake of the classic game...".

But we're not going to stop on just remaking the original classic, we are planning to add new features, additional content and support the mod scene, which would be problematic for the first game.

We are deeply sorry about any inconveniences the game caused for you and hope you’ll eventually enjoy the game. We’re doing our best here at Kiev to improve the game!
