EDIT: Changing my review to Recommended now that most of my complaints have been addressed, original review below.

CAVEAT: I don't recommend this FOR NOW. Reasons to follow.

What I like:
Drill movement and level design is quite fun in the beginning, a natural flow to everything, only broken when you're secret hunting and I'm sure a better player could incorporate that seamlessly. The music and graphics are great and I'm grabbing the OST for sure (with the exception of one track but oh well).

What I don't like:
The hitboxes. Without spoiling anything, some bosses have very specific hit areas and sometimes don't register. Said bosses can also hit you outside of the attack's visual range>
The grappling mechanics. One would assume that jumping would jump off a grapple and you could hold drill to keep drilling,. But no, the jump button disengages the grapple with no momentum and the drill button makes you jump, meaning that you end up panic spamming in certain areas, or let go of drill once you're grappled, only to jump into the void.
I'm also not too keen on the gun sections, but it's fun for a bit, also some amusing things at the end of one of the sections.

A few patches can easily work the hitboxes and maybe add some options for the grappling if the devs are intent on keeping it the way it is. I'll revisit this in a bit and most likely change the review but there's just too much jank right now.
