Cool game for a while. I wouldn't play for long time. CSGO was much better - More options. This.. is way to close to Valorant. Unfortunately after long time I have to denied it from recomending to new players. It's boring after some time. The game looks more realistic tho.
But that's all for current state.

CS: Source compared to CS2 is waaaaay better in everything. You are enjoing gameplay, not graphics. You want to enjoy graphics? Buy PS5 and play some awesome games. This game is cool to watch at some major but also boring @ same time. Imo glory years of CS has ended.

Also I wonder when ppl will get to know that..
- on casual after death you cannot speak / chat info for those alive ones.
I think it's natural reaction but u can't, that would be cheating and we do not like that.
The game should have that in some sort of toturial or somethink.

- Spending 350$ more on kevlar won't keep you alive as CT knowing TT has ak47. Its 1tab machine no matter what just like deag. M4 has -95dmg. So as TT spending +350$ is good idea.

Hostages are actually fun to play imo after years of normal c4 bomb attack mode.

This game is way too bright now. I have to set gamma graphics to 33% to look like CSGO.
While on 133% you literally setting white mode just like we all does back when phones didn't had dark mode.
It's like perma flash grenade on your face.
Idk how can ppl use to play with it - I fully admire it.

I could say a lot what this game lacks, but imo the only thing that distinguishes Valve from Riot Games is listening to it's community. And even if it doesn't always work out, even for them. They try. IDK what it's like to work at Valve, but over the years everyone felt like they didn't care about the game. Imo the biggest lack is game modes. I wish Surf back. Not as community servers but legit Valve server to earn XP. I was spamming game's in past in that game mode. The same goes to prop hunt / Hide & Seek. And more like Speed Run / Bhoppin chillin server's.

I see this CS2 for new players as what CSGO was for me back in 2015.
I was amazed by CSGO and a lot players I have meet that played a lot in cs 1.6 or cs:s
hate the most early time of csgo 2012. Then everyone start getting use to it. But at the end there was a lot missing content. Lots of gamers even decided to just get over it and purchsed Call of Duty but also old CoD where physics existed. The same goes to CS. Time flies, new community servers were created so this game was actually fun and great jump from normal games but sadly it doesnt go into CS2.

After 10 years of playing this title I'm ending my PC gaming journey.
I just don't feel the same exciting feeling like I used to have back in 2015/16 when glory days of this game was on the line.
Maybe I got used to it but it's time for some changes like in everyone's life.
I played mainly this game cuz of great community and obviously friends prompted me to play.

The only reason I play still is 3x Karambit's on medal for service 2025. It's cool looking. As far I remember everyone has dream to one day come into possession of one of them.

My reason for moving away from PC games is the desire to develop myself, cuz over the years I have stagnated compared to other peers of my age. I spent a lot of time in this game, and the counter does not include watching entertainment creators or esport or guides to play better at YouTube / Twitch. Im not moving away from games completely. There will always be a place for them in my heart. I'm moving to PlayStation to re-new old contacts and improve relationships with my family which I also neglected by prioritizing PC games. I will treat playing on a console as an addiction to my life, not it's foundation, "as it was" with a PC over year's.

CSGO - Don't get me wrong it's a great game with a lot of memories I made on couple of my accounts and ofc - friends.. that.. are no longer online but.. it was wonderfull time to play with them.

I either have no clue why all pvp games nowadays are going the same way.

Games in past was enjoyable bcs of how simply they was,
I know every game has to bring monetization system to keep alive, but thats not all.
In past everythink was better.. made with love..
to make ppl happy,

only money matter's..
and that's how I see most of games.
CS2 included. It's trully dark times.
