I love being able to zoom all the way out. I love rts and the sup com games do it best. I plan to play all the sup com games and any rts even remotely like them... :)

this seems to fix all the problems i had with ai war 1...

2d action rts. played 3-4 hours, wanted to like it bcs its a gamepad rts but didnt like it. graphics are ok i guess for 2d, but seems annoying to control units. have to hold their hands and carry them around and can only tell them to attack either nearest base or suicide on enemy home base. can only order a small number of units at a time that are nearest you. not many units. seems like itd take hundreds of hours to unlock all the units and level up. mp is almost dead, down to under 50 players, all pros that easily beat me. it is my kind of game tho, so i want to try it again and give it more time to grow on me.

played it for 6 hours but didnt get very far. i didnt know how to play. i think most of that time was on pause. need to research this game first to figure out what the mechanics are. i like the idea of it and the graphics look good for 2d.

tried for 5 mins and its impossible to use gamepad. it really needs a button to turn you 180 degrees. it looks good tho and is scary. itd be good if i ever get good at keyboard mouse

i played it for 6 hours. the gamepad controls for an rts are not as good as i'd hoped. you have to navigate deep into menus to command each unit. it's a hassle. also, it was hard to aim with gamepad. loose controls. might need to use xpadder to fine tune the sticks. looks good tho, and i love rts/fps so will have to play it again, maybe with mouse keyboard.

this is too much of an rts lite for me. you only get to pick the build order and do a few powers and cant control the units directly. too boring. also 3v3 is stupid. you have to watch the other 2 players send in their waves before you get to send in your next wave of units. it is easy on the arms tho. you can play it by just occasionally using the mouse only. its really a mobile game, and not too good on a desktop pc. i only tried 1 army bcs you have to unlock the other 2 armies' units and it probably takes like 30 hours. played for 2 hours and wasnt into it. the graphics are decent at least.

played the tutorial for 5 hours, wasnt that into it. i think most of that 5 hours mustve been on pause while i alt tabbed out to do other things. simple rts with short games shd be good, but didnt like graphics or gameplay. might work better with gamepad.

played for around 5-10 hours, was having trouble on normal difficulty, didnt like it as much as i remember liking the original, definitely try again tho, for at least 30 hours. this should be my ideal game. just need to spend a lot of time learning how to play it.

played the tutorials, tried the arena mode, played 11 hours, didnt like it much. too much like an mmo or action rpg, graphics unimpressive, combat not visceral enough, 3rd person doesnt work well, tried some gods, mostly ranged. didnt like melee at all. liked cupid, sylvanus and poseidon the most, bought the 3 cheapest gods plus sylvanus, the only ranged guardian with area of effect basic attack. also gamepad support is terrible. need to create a complicated xpadder profile. i do like being in spectator mode for up to 90 seconds after dying, to rest and watch the game. the bots are easy to kill, at least. i cant compete at all with humans. everyone is 10x better than me and i keep getting 0 kills and many deaths. i shd try it again eventually, tho, especially since i own a bunch of dlc i got for free from twitch prime.
