Early Access Review
game was great in the eralier days, after being semi-abandoned in "early access" for a few years, they now announce theyre going to add web3 and NFT integration.

They are also then pulling the game from steam and "re-launching" on Epic games store, this wouldnt be such a big issue, but when the switch happens current players will not get to keep their progress/in game items. This includes skins, any unlocks, etc.

Greedy/lazy devs ruined such a promising game in a time where hero shooters are ruining themselves left and right, Shatterline could have been a flash of light in the darkness.

GGs everyone, it was a blast while it lasted.

Game was bugged at launch, had potential. Clones we're released and they had to step up their game due to low updates and no real progress in game development. Started dropping update content all over and surprise released the full game after the Xbox release. Now there are frame issues, lag everywhere, and a slew of more issues. On top of it all, since release day ago all the matches I've played have returned me 0 battle points. I've played a few games and probably lost over 1000 points. After a few games of this "bug" happening to me and all my friends, I have decided this game is going downhill and will probably be playing it much less. They drop full release when it isn't ready to compensate for other companies jumping in the "battle royale" spotlight with free or much less costly pricetags. Since I cannot gain any points toward progression (in this case the rewards from crates) I will not be playing this until the issue is fixed. Besides this issue the lag/frame skips/glitches/etc that are now more prevalent AFTER full release, just shows they're trying to jump the gun in order to scramble back up to first place in the BR game race. They put out the game a year ago and didn't update anything substantial until about 3-4 months ago when vaulting was supposedly going to be added a few months after the early access began. Keep in mind they did allow these feature on the test server, but this server had limited access and was at times a more stable version of pubg. After the release however, where one would assume things have been ironed out more than they were in the test server, the game is just worse. I may not have the best PC but my friends with top of the line gpus and CPUs were having almost MORE issues with lag and framerates than I was. Even after turning down the graphics that they were able to have set at all high previously, but after the "full" release they dropped their settings to mostly med-low and we're having the same if not more issues than I was. Sad to see this great go the route of laziness and procrastinating to the point where after competing games have been released in early access, bluehole had to try to quickly recover the market they had dominated for a few months. They got waaayyy to comfortable with their success and now have kinda let it slip through their fingers. On full release the rewards system is broken and does not reward anything, test server ran better, third person aiming is a hassle now, plus a plethora of other issue are plaguing this release and I fear nothing will be done about it as it had been handled like that in the past. Good luck Bluehole I really hope you make it work out.
