Wish there was more stuff out there like this. Games don't have to be complicated. Stunning audio-visual experience in my opinion. Could definitely use a couple extra levels with different colors of tile :) Maybe some red... or more of the teal stuff, think that was my favorite. Anyway... definite buy if you like liminal space stuff and it's on sale.

this game is a pure vaporwave art project. super cool. wish there were more games out there like this. really test the limits of the imagination of what you can do with computer games because why not. just enjoy it. wish there was VR.

edit: purchased on super sale for like 2 dollars or something. definite recommend at that price and probably worth full price if you really like the aesthetic.

Maybe not worth full price for the nostalgia hit... but definitely worth on sale. Very well done remaster. Great fun just grinding against AI bots in custom games solo or co-op.

Edit; I didn't realize how long this game was. I thought I was getting toward the end but actually it was only the end of the first act. The content just keeps coming. I'm about 10 hours of high quality, hand crafted content deep at this point. Honestly I think this is the best boomer shooter style campaign game of all time. 10/10 well done. I think this will be the first single-player style game i've finished in almost a decade... assuming i can beat the final boss ... assuming there is a final boss ... :0

It is a boomer shooter, which normally I enjoy for about 1-2 hours and then never touch again. At least for this one, I can say I caught myself with my jaw literally on the floor in awe at how good the level design is. What an absolute artistic masterpiece. Definitely best in class material here. God bless Apogee. In 1994 people would have payed 50 dollars for this. Can't wait to watch speedruns of this game.

Honestly, overrated. The game feels poorly optimized, and does not look very good in my opinion. Feels like the VFX/animations are from the 90's and just reskinned with super high res textures. The weapons just don't look or feel that good and the gameplay is just .... bleh. Boring. I tried the campaign / tutorial, and immediately got bored. Then I ran some random skirmish type missions, and also got bored.

I understand it's like a strategic FPS type game but the gameplay is just very lackluster. I have no interest in learning all the weapon specs and tweaking my builds. Why do I need 20 variations of the same weapon? IDK. Would rather play Earth Siege from the 90's.

i was on the fence with this type of game for the past couple years. loved skate 3, was worried this would be a ripoff / knockoff cash grab type of early access game. maybe i waited till just the right time to buy it, idk. but tldr; if you liked skate 3 this is easily worth 20 bucks. the flip trick controls are awesome, and imo it's a level up from skate 3 as far as being able to do exactly what tricks you want. you have very explicit control over everything here, from regular flip tricks, extended flip and late flip variations, pressure flips, grind and manual combos, etc etc. maybe the vert/bowl stuff ain't there yet, but the flip tricks alone are worth the cash. brilliant design of the controls and very fun to mess around in stress free. enjoy.
