10/10 value for money. I love opening the chests. Can't say that for any other games out there.

Can be frustrating to learn, but this is a 10/10 game for 5 bucks. Definitely worth trying if you're into the strategic part of fighting games. Also, beautiful and sounds great.

Not for $15, and not if you're expecting an engaging online pvp experience. Pick up on 50% off, or if you need a 4+ player couch mode game for your PC (purely out of limited selection for this type of thing). This game should indicate that a controller is required, because playing with mouse/keyboard is essentially impossible.

My feedback to the dev:
I think you should either lean into the game being either more competitive, or more casual.
- More competitive by adding proper mouse aim (like with a cursor or telegraphed spell hitbox outlines) and enhancing outplay potential by allowing cancel casting & free aim while channeling, also speeding things up a bit, adding a UI with cooldown indicators. Ranked matchmaking could be added, remove some of the environmental interactions that have brutal RNG elements like getting one-shotted by the fish, the puck, or the volcano. Also- make it wins by round, rather than by KO's.

- More casual by adding even more environmental interaction maps like "THE SPORTS" or the one where the island disappears, how about a windy map with a tornado that throws people around but if you reach the edges you're flung back to the middle? Maybe allowing some respawns and adding control-point type objectives or platforming, CTF, dodgeball mode, really lean into the crazy momentum/physics aspects with players and objects bouncing around, etc.

As-is, the new-player online matchmaking experience is just kinda "bleh" after a few games and I think it's because the game isn't enjoyed fully competitively or casually and just lies too far in the middle for my taste. The spell drafting is pretty cool for sure, but the actual gameplay just isn't going to attract players to the point where we figure out all the cool combos on our own. The spells are just too slow and clunky. Like do you want me to practice 40 different 3-spell combos orrrrr do you want me to just dive in and have a good time derping around and getting one shotted by a fish named Jeff?

Raptor is definitely in my top 5 dos games ever made. It is not your average bullet-hell top-down-scroller. This game was way ahead of its time. It has a great progressive difficulty and unlocking weapons and equipment over time give it an RPG-ish feel. Great replayability. If you were a Raptor fan from back in the day- definitely pick this version up on sale.

This thing is insane- you can literally go anywhere in the universe, at any time, for all time. See that star in the sky? You can go there. Wanna check out the Andromeda? You can go there too. Wanna see a quasar up close? No problem. Damn those things are BRIGHT AF. Really makes you understand how lucky we really are on our little ball of rock. This is the kind of software that computers should be made for. 10/10. Easy to spend hours in here exploring and enjoying the stark vastness of space and time.

This review is for the single-player experience only.
And for that, I suggest you avoid unless on super-sale (like... under $10).

I was hoping for a fun single-player shooter game to just mess around in and kill bots. It just isn't that. Controls feel too clunky, and the AI sucks - they are either too hard or too easy. Biggest disappointment is the shooting - it doesn't look or sound very good, and is clearly much more focused on pure tactics such as maintaining cover and painstakingly checking all your angles before moving anywhere because otherwise you will get unconditionally one-shotted. I could tolerate the AI being trash if the gunplay was good enough. But as it is, needs a lot of work IMO.

I feel like this game would appeal to milsim airsoft players. If you're not one of those kinds of guys, hard pass. I'm having way more fun in the buggy-AF dmz mode in COD MW2, which is free btw. Not that I would necessarily recommend that game either, and the gunplay in that game is also not super great, but at least the AI present a fun/challenging experience.

Edit; this game crashes often enough that I'm just going to thumb it down. Just not really worth it yet. DMZ is a super fun idea but there's just way too many game ruining bugs and crashes that I can't give it a thumbs up. Also the poorly designed and buggy AF interface for DMZ is unforgivable.

Game is super fun otherwise. Hope they fix their billion dollar budget game so it can compete with the indie devs out there.

This game just isn't very good. Definitely save your time, money and your precious hard-disk space, of which this game consumes a metric ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I played as much as I could stomach for the money I spent... but every time I booted it up I just felt like I was trying to get my money's worth instead of actually enjoying the game. I waited quite a while to give this game a good college try (until after all the bugs were fixed, content was upgraded, etc). But... at it's heart, I think it's a poorly designed experience.

The story is not very well connected to the actual gameplay, and the gameplay is not very good. It's a solo looter-shooter experience with less interesting loot compared to BL2 and less interesting combat than Crysis from 2007. The exploration of the city itself might be the most disappointing part for me... There's no incentive to explore and mess around. The minimap basically draws a perfect exact line for you to follow everywhere you go to get to your next mission objective.... I'm sure they did this because they designed the city layout by asking a two year old to draw a plate of spaghetti and then just... used that as the map layout.

Oh and there's PLENTY of missions to do. You will receive nonstop phone calls and texts from all kinds of irrelevant characters... wayyyy beyond the point of giving a ♥♥♥♥ about anything... and you will just end up doing whatever you are told to do next.

There's a huge character progression, crafting and loot system that feels like a chore to me. I think this game would be way better with a simple skill tree system and completely get rid of the crafting ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Just let me focus on the gameplay and the story instead of trying to milk the crafting system for what it's worth while trying to figure out how the stupid skill system works and if it's worth it to invest in these extremely uninteresting hacking minigames.

Anyway... don't buy it. If you really want some cyberpunk aesthetic gamer ♥♥♥♥, go play Brigador.
PS; the explicit content also is not very good.
