This is, in my opinion, the best Jackbox Party Pack, and the best party game I've ever played. While there aren't many game modes, they're all well balanced, fun to play and are fine tuned to make you and your friends laugh. I also have to give credit to the games' soundtracks, which have no business being that good. My only complaint is that some games get a bit stale after a few playthroughs.

This game is the epitome of short but sweet. It's not a game with hours upon hours of content and incredibly deep storytelling, but it's got great platforming and gameplay, creative writing and storytelling and complex yet fun puzzles. It's a perfect game to just sit down with, relax, beat, then replay to get all the achievements later. Well worth the €8 it's asking for, an apsolute bargain if you get it on sale.

An absolute joy to play with friends

The hard truth about this game is that it's just a worse Jackbox game, something I'm sure someone else has already said.

Most of the questions and/or prompts given are boring and very rarely result in something I would laugh at. The game's community is also rarely funny (contrary to the game's goal) and the gameplay loop gets very repetitive, even with the option to vote for a prompt. The game refuses to feed you any info regarding votes and points until the end of the round and it doesnt clarify which option give points and how many points they give. It also lacks in some no-brainer features, such as an option to edit your response, which I found very annoying, especially in the "DRAW!" prompts.

I feel like the music could've been so much more. Nearly all the songs are just jazzier existing themes for jackfilms' existing work, which results in the music getting a bit stale after a while (at least in my experience, I've listened to his stuff to death).

I'm not a fan of the character creation tool either. A lot of general options are missing and are locked behind a fee in the game's shop and the UI for the "closet" is slightly confusing, you get used to it pretty quicky though. Also, a lot of options that are given are straight-up ugly or look off.

Something I applaud the devs for is the optimization work. This game runs flawlessly on every single piece of tech I own, from my >$2000 Gaming PC to a cheap Android tablet I bought 6 years ago. My resource usage never spiked for some arbitrary reason as well. However, I'm slightly disappointed in the lack of more video setting options, such as support for frame rates higher than 60.

And now, the community. Oh boy. As I've previously mentioned, the prompts given to you are very uninteresting, corporate and safe, which made it hard to make something interesting for an answer. However, I was not expecting for how terrible my experience on public lobbies was. Every single player I encountered was worse than the last. Most of my rounds ended with all of us having negative points and a lot of answers were cringe-worthy or just unfunny to the point I would roll my eyes.
As for private lobbies, the difference between Jackbox and this game is night and day. Jackbox isn't afraid to give a more suggestive prompt which gives you enough to make a funny answer. In this game, the most interesting prompt I got was "From which tutorial is this step? - Step 4. Atone for your sins." or something along those lines. Every 2 rounds, one of my friends would say "This is boring, let's play Jackbox.", even ones who have watched jacksfilms for a while.

Would I recommend this game? No. For how long it has been conceptualized and developed, this is a very disappointing game with its main hook unfunny, its feature set very skinny and small and its playerbase barely trying. Unless you can't find $30 in your wallet for a Jackbox Party Pack or don't have friends or access to Discord, it's not worth your time.

This has to be one of, if not THE MOST BROKEN game I've ever played. I've been trying to get in a round with my friend for 30 minutes and I've entered matches where someone would spawn 100 horses and destroy your PC, matches where I would spawn in the middle of the night and in none of those did my friend get to join, DESPITE BEING IN A PARTY.

Not only that, I encountered several performance issues, which ranged from innocent short stutters to the game freezing for 10 seconds. Also, for some godforsaken reason, my GPU has been always been pegged at 100% usage throughout the whole gameplay (I have an RTX 3070 Ti and a Ryzen 5000 combo BTW so it's not because of poor hardware), which for the uninspired art style and graphical fidelity similar to KARLSON, is about 80% more than I would think is sane, especially how well TABG ran on my and my sister's computer (She's on integrated graphics). Even after the "GPU usage fixes", my problems still remain.

Nearly every aspect of the gameplay feels like an afterthought. It's like the devs came up with an idea of a drifting horse and nailed it just right, and then hastly made everything else to validate that idea as a game. Hell, their official alternate link for this Steam page is http://drifting.horse/ ! As I previously mentioned, the horse riding and drifting is nearly perfect. It's speedy and responsive, and the drifting is nearly on-par with Mario Kart 8. However, the player movement is sloppy, the map with its constantly twisting roads gets very annoying after a while, the shooting feels cheap and not heavy enough, even with other weapons, and when I saw how long it took to open a chest in the shooting range, which is in other games 2-3 seconds, my jaw literally dropped. I feel like this game could've worked better as some kart racer than a Battle Royale.

While I did get this game while it was free and can't complain about that, for all people actually purchasing it for its $6 price tag, I would rather get a refund and/or wait a few months until this game gets untangled to a playable state, and with how Landfall is currently supporting the game, that will probably take a long while.

This game feels incredibly rushed and I am beyond disappointed with this release, espeacially because it's a genuinely creative take on Battle Royale and gameplay-wise seems like it could be a very fun game. It would not have nearly as many problems as it has currently if they didn't project to release this on April Fools and focused on playability first.

This is the most fun multiplayer shooter there is. It mixes great gun-play with great platforming, when most games only do one. It's really easy and satisfying to pull off high-speed trick-shots, and it handles progression and quests in a fun way, that incentivises you to play creatively instead of just pointlessly grinding away at the game. The weapons are balanced for the most part,

However, it's not perfect. For one, the maps all kinda suck in some ways, with the most balanced and fun one being the map in the waiting area, Stadium, and Olympus. Every other map fails to really stretch the game's mechanics to their limits because of the limited amount of portal-able surfaces, lack-of or over-reliance on verticality, as well as having too many sniping spots in very open maps. Also, the game is no longer getting any updates, not even hotfixes, so some you're gonna stumble across a few quirks (especially UI-wise) that the devs haven't fixed, and will never fix, as they went to develop this game's sequel, which isn't releasing until 2024.
