Pretty good game if you like the Arkham series, but this game is definitely a step down from it's predecessors. The story is decent and the graphics are pretty good for its time, but the missions are quite repetitive and working towards 100% achievement (and the true ending) is a drag. I liked it though because I had played the other games in the series first.

Superstar mode is entirely broken for me. Seems like the gameplay isn't innovating on anything at all, and the graphics are subpar for a game with this kind of budget. Waste of money.

After more playing: The Superstar thing ended up working, but the mode just kind of sucks. It's not like the games of old. Also, draft classes in Franchise don't really work, they all come out looking like the same exact player. All this and there's no other football games to play :(

After even more playing: Superstar broke after I tried to make another character in another position. Not to mention you can only play 5 positions.

Infuriating. I use this game to hurt myself rather than cutting or doing anything else because my anger is all gone by the time I finish playing.

A good couple hours of puzzle platforming with a creative mechanic. It sets the story and idea of portals up well for the second game too. Wish Valve wasn't so scared of the number 3 though.

Alright, I have a VAC ban for cheating, put that aside for my honest review of the game.

First thing that comes up with this game is the obvious cancer of matchmaking I know, and I myself have hacked on secure servers just out of pure boredom of the game. Hacking's fun, believe it or not. Not saying try it though. Even though I lost a lot of interest for the game, I think playing for over a good thousand and some hours really was fun.

Valve is starting to become more involved with the community and crack down on hackers and improve the game (aside from sound updates that shouldn't have happened imo). Get the game, whether it's coming from a hacker or not, because you'll have lots of fun.
