If you're into Japanese pop music, Dance, Eurobeat, and soundTeMP compositions/20s MMO BGMs, DJMAX RESPECT V's aesthetic and songs are sure to please you. The base game features over 150 tracks (unlocked as you progress), and differently from other rhythm games, there truly is something for everybody.

Not only that, but the majority of songs are key sounded (you're playing one of the song's instruments rather than just reenacting), which is very satisfying. It serves as rewarding feedback on how well you're doing and makes it much more fun to try and improve.

I usually avoid rhythm games' DLCs because they end up piling up, and by the end, you need to spend a ridiculous amount of money to have all the content. However, DJMAX RESPECT V is so polished I couldn't help but buy the song packs I wanted.

Last but not least, the game is very player-friendly, allowing for a lot of gameplay customization (such as adjusting speed and picking the number of buttons you want to play with).
