Personal opinion here. Though I have not played it first hand; after watching a playthrough of it, I consider "The Last of Us" to be the best game ever. It's story and emotional draw is unlike that of any game I've ever seen in my entire life. It's very rare that something entertains or pleases me more than anime, but it somehow managed to do it.

This game is an absolute work of art. The design and music really pull the atmosphere together. The combat mechanics are completely ingenious and original. The story is good, with lots of little tidbits here and there found in "diaries" that add to it even further. At times the game can seem too easy or too hard, but it's generally well balanced. Some mechanics of the game don't show up for quite some time and seem to suddenly appear, not making sense; but it's something that can quite easily be overlooked. All in all I give this game a 9/10 and recommend to anyone to go out and buy it.
