Essentially, it's the Dark Age of Technology when mankind first expanded and encountered other alien races and as well as developing sentient AI that went rogue.

9/10 Content is great at the moment, can't wait to see more content added like how darktide got its support. My only gripe is that they only allow 1 class type per game. But thats ok, usually i'll just switch out to another class i like

There's been alot of flak against this game but its come a long way. If you loved exploring the world of Fallout 4, you'll love this alot. Its a great game and buy only if on sale. The many updates have brought it to a point where its playable and enjoyable.

Only thing i have against this game is the settlement building...well i guess thats where they make money, some things either take very long to unlock or the plans for whatever you want to build is unlockable by paying only. Game feels like a missed potential. It could have been so much better.

See you all in Starfield.
Hope its not a flop

Absolutely recommend this game to anyone who loves L4D styled coop against hordes of enemies. Just watch out for the DLCs, only the Return to Ubersreik one is worth getting imo.

A definite 9/10 for this wonderful 2D Space Exploration, Settlement Building piece of gem.

Played this game when it was still in version "Perturbed Koala". It's come a long way and alot of changes have been made to be able to create such a wonderful game like this.

Alot of people compare it to Terraria and call it just "Space Terraria", you're missing out.

+Exploration
+Story
+Dungeons
+Building

-Might get grindy when you're 3/4 into the game

PS: Its still better than No Man's Sky.

Played through the game on Lvl 3 difficulty. I'd say this is one of the few games that when finished, gave me the feels. Not gonna spoil it for you, but play through it and you'll understand why.

I'd say its one gigantic love story in a manly game of Blood & Gore.

Gameplay feels DOOM-ish but you can still play it any way you want. I did stealth where possible. After every mission, returning to the resistance HQ was a nice break from the action. You watch your every mission have an impact of the resistance HQ. You'll feel rather attached to the place and the people you save. I'd say the game shines in this part as well. And depending on who you picked, I chose Fergus, his playthrough was rather unique. At one point, the game made you feel the survivor's guilt and the consequence of your choices.

The level design was amazing, each was rather unique, from fighting in space to fighting in a prison, each area has its own unique layout. Story setting and the lore provides immersion if you take some time to read through the newspaper cutouts.
Enemies gradually get tougher and your weapons also get upgrades along the way as well. Secrets and Extras hidden around the levels make you explore more!

Gameplay length was adequate. Not too long, not too short.

TL:DR = A definite recommend for this game by me! Enjoyed it immensely. Great Story hidden in a action packed game.

The Banner Saga... Where to begin? I've made many choices, lived and survived to regret it...yet....it had to be done... The game has such a great story and great atmosphere. Decisions you make in the game are crucial and may haunt you or bite you in the back later. I was playing the good guy.... Accepted or helped as many people as I could along the way. I let people join my caravan, assisted those who stayed behind. Until.... Someone turned traitor after a long while. Perhaps it was due to the low morale from our dwindling food supplies... or was it my leadership? I was accused of letting anybody from the road join the caravan. There was mistrust and there was alot of squabbling amongst the clansmen.

My logic was this: The common enemy was the dredge. No point fighting amongst ourselves.
And that was how i rolled throughout the whole game. Pretty much like Game of Throne's Nights Watch style. I'd willingly accept anyone whose willing to join and help those that decide to stay, despite their lost cause. I've made a few good friends that way, lost a few too.

The ending...I think I made the right choice. Though sad, but I felt that whatever that had happened, the great journey, was all just to get that 1 character to the end. Bittersweet indeed.

TLDR: I felt like Ned Stark in Game of Thrones. Sometimes the best decisions aren't always the morally righteous ones. The game really shines in this part as well. The fighting is similar to XCOM styled games....its decent. You really have to decide your hero placements tactically and their moves too. One wrong move could cost the whole battle.

The game itself has a nice concept and is with no doubt a very fun game, though it might get grindy at times. However, whats wrong is the game engine. This game is riddled with bugs. Ranging from getting stuck in certain game spots to sudden crashes ( Especially when you're about to finish a level ) ruins the game.

Whats nice is the variety of loot you're able to get. The dice roll loot system is unique and kinda makes it addictive. You have different tiers of weapons, Common>Uncommon>Rare>Epic. Get 5 of them and combine them to get the next tier, or salvage 1 of them to get gems which you can use to upgrade your favourite weapons.

The gameplay itself is Left4Dead-like. You've got different specials that all function like those in left4dead. The GasRat will deny an area with toxic gas, the PackRat will hook your teammate and drag them away to be hung, the GunnerRat would target 1 specific member until they are dead, the GutterRat will pounce and stab and disappear into the shadows when hit. Then theres the ogrerat which is the tank. One special thing to note is that there's these Stormvermin. Armorclad rats that are easy to take down when they're by themselves, but when they're patrolling as a group, you best avoid them. They'll surround you and push the team away from each other. They know how to block your attacks and they are able to hit you from a distance with their polearms. This makes facing a squad of them deadly when unprepared.

Tl:dr, The game is fun, L4D players will love this. However, it's got its fair share of bugs and if you can get pass those, you will enjoy this game.
